Some invitations you say yes to before you even finish reading them. This was one of those. Even after realizing it meant two flights, a Cessna, and a boat ride to get there.

Dr. Tanya Raquel gathered a group of women in Belize who were ready to set it all down and remember who they were underneath it all. I showed up with one intention, to capture what words alone could never fully describe.

What came back in that gallery was proof that transformation is real, that sisterhood is powerful, and that when women choose themselves something beautiful happens. I am so grateful I was there to witness it.
